About the Role: 

As the Functional Safety Lead Engineer, you will: 

• Spearhead Functional Safety development and engineering processes. 

• Integrate safety attributes into software and hardware architectures. 

• Coordinate various engineering teams across multiple projects. 

• Ensure compliance with ISO26262 and other relevant standards. 

• Serve as a key advisor on the feasibility of projects, balancing customer requirements with commercial considerations.

Your Daily Adventure: 

• Act as the Safety Engineer per ISO26262. 

• Translate customer requirements into actionable technical specifications. 

• Provide internal consultancy to align working methods, assumptions, and documentation. 

• Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and customer requirements. 

• Proactively address and resolve Functional Safety issues. 

What You Bring to the Table: 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Functional Safety practices. 

• At least 7 years in safety or security management and leadership. 

• Proficient in Automotive SPICE, ISO26262, and Functional Safety standards. 

• Extensive experience with automotive system development (OEM or Tier 1). 

• Familiarity with automotive core tools (APQP). 

• Up-to-date knowledge of testing and certification processes.
